There are things that I like to incorporate in my routine or as basics according to the season and some that are stable essentials.
In this crazy times where things took an unexpected way of living, I realized that the older I get the better I feel when I am not overwhelmed by loads of stuff ( from simple things like makeup products, to clothings, or living space clutter).
I am no where to being a minimalist, cause I don’t think it’s in my nature but I fairly enjoy having a clearer mindset following small habits now or having a list of trusty essentials that I reach for to enjoy my days, without pressure.
- Wardrobe Essential: WHITE SNEAKERS ( lately with a bit of a platform is my go to look)
My relationship with white sneakers is a long and solid one, since I was a teen they were my addiction. We hear this all the time but simply true, white sneakers can make any outfit look fresh and chic!
Since I am not that tall (1.64 cm ) lately I enjoyed the fact that there are options with a bit of a platform just too help a petite girl out! These in the picture are a current fave from Top Shop, but I also still love my Converse, and Adidas Stan Smith.
2. Essentials fashion Item: POLÈNE UNO NANO BAG❤️
I swear everything fits in this tiny thing! My hand bags are usually a giant bulb of stuff, age has not made me wiser when it comes to organizing the content in my purse, however this little black bag has made me rethink my “space management” for the better! Also it such good quality and perfect size, plus I find it suits every single outfit mood I go for!
3. Essential Skincare Item: NEOGEN GREEN TEA CLEANSER 🤩
I am embarking on a k-beauty journey and probably will do a post about it soon, however one of the things that has become essential for me is this Cleanser by NEOgen, which has improved so much the texture of my skin with such an enjoyable washing experience since it foams up like snow on the face!
4. Essential Workout routine: Holly Dolke’s Videos💪🏼
I haven’t done a weight loss post yet, but Holly’s videos have help me out so much during 2020 and have became part of my routine, since all her workouts require more or less 15 minutes, and oh boy when you do it regularly it shows … like a LOT. Highly recommend her if you are not a fan like me of going to the Gym!
5. Essential afterwork activity: WALKING MY DOG DURING GOLDEN HOUR ON THE LAKE SIDE/ TAKING A WALK AFTER A LONG DAY
There’s not much to say, just that as the days get longer, this simple activity is such a wholesome moment and such a healthy habit for your mind and your spirit! I love it…
6. Essential hobby: LEARNING TO PLAY THE PIANO
Not going to lie it’s freaking hard and it requires lots, I mean LOTS of practice and commitment but I am doing it! Obviously I don’t aspire becoming a professional, it’s just something I always wanted to do for the pure joy and fun of it.
That’s All for now I guess! Have a great week end!
