Hello guys! How are you? Hope you are having a lovely weekend… I must say I am pretty happy with mine so far! It was an intense week and a busy weekend for my usual very “normal ad quite” lifestyle… Friday was a fun night out but I got home a little late than my usual and right away yesterday I had an awesome full day in Venice for the Carnival week ( which by the way iff you have not see is so cool, that’s why I am preparing a post on it. too)..
So, to relax a bit this Sunday I decided to focus on my skin care ( for those days when I can take a little more time for my self and just pamper my skin ) and of course thought it would be a good idea to share it with a Blog post since my goal this year is to be more active on the blog:)
I start of course with washing my face, I am currently using the Walde Seifen & Kerzen soap, I got this Christmas (a natural charcoal soap that purifies skin and removes also any leftover make up), next Step is the l’Oreal Detox Pure Clay Glow which is one of my fave scrub/mask as it exfoliates the skin without drying it out..
After that I like to move on to a good face moisturising mask.. Recently I have been very into sheet mask! I really like the Garnier one, and this one from Lululu I brought from Japan!
Following up is a relatively new step for me …which is face essence and here there is no presentation needed, because not really knowing anything about the topic I researched on line and went straight to a brand everyone was talking about…also visiting Japan may have put me in a slight advantage … yes the SK II essence.. again, yes I love it.
Down to the basics: face & eye cream! I am currently using The Origin ginzing moisturiser and eye cream and I really do like it, especially the intense fresh sensation you feel on the skin after the application because it has kind of a gelly consistency. It takes a few of minutes to be totally absorbed into the skin, that is why I avoid it when I am running super late, but when I have a decent amount of time on my hands I love it!!
Final touch lips… and here I go old school with my DIY involving Sugar and honey… simple but super effective!
That’s all for today… See you all soon!
XOXO
Love,
J.
I love the Origins ginzing and you’re totally right, it takes awhile for it to settle into my skin so I’ve been sticking to using it at night. I loved reading about your skincare routine! xx
