brushesHello everyone! Here I am with a brand new topic, this time inspired my sudden need (developed latelty) to get some new makeup brushes.
In the past I owned different type of brushes … and not a few of them honestly!
I am not sure if you remember when you could literally find brushes set everywhere, and I mean when 4 videos out of 5 on youtube were about brushes from different brands mac, sigma, elf, zoeva, sephora…the list is endless…
Anyway, during the years things (for me at least..) went in a very different direction for multiple reasons:
- first, half of those amazing brushes were completely useless to me as i am not a make up artist, and was focused in not turning my face into a picasso canvas… as a 90’s girl my relationship with make up basically involved a tons of kajal and a smutged grunge look….and trust me not done in a very glamorous way …
As time past.. I realized that it was not exactly the look I was going for on my early 20 for college or work
- second, Washing them… was exausting… for a lazy girl like my self …..at least
- Third I often did not achieve the result I wanted… until i experimented with different tools..or let’s say until I discovered the beauty blender or the Miracle sponge from RT:)
So what are basically my essentials … here we go!
Lots of Real techniques … I love love all their brushes…they make wonders with any product, have exellent quality, rasonable price and the best part are so easy to use!

Also with Urban decay you can never go wrong especially with it’s useful tools from naked palettes..those double sided are the best travel brushes for me!
Some KIKO limited editions made it so far, especially face brushes !..and finally some mixed survivor that really worked their way into my heart, from Mac, Zoeva and Essence!
I wanted to write a post on my impression, cause my brush philosophy is pretty simple use whatever you find fits you better! if blush brush is a better foundation brush… go for it, I 100% with you for that! 🙂
Ok everyone … sorry for the long intro! Anyway let me know which are your essetial MU tools!? Or how they made your life easier, so I can maybe steel some tips!
