Back to Hogwarts..

Hello everyone! I am sorry, I haven’t wrote as much as I intended to this  week, but it was very very caothic with all the xmas preparations, work, and crazy scheduling of a tons of xmas parties… I had the weekend off to be fair, but something came up… and that’s why I am writing a blogpost about it.

In north Italy, actually in some of the cities of the north on the night between the 12 & 13 december we have a pretty magical night, especially if your a kid! We wait for Saint Lucy which let’s say sometimes helps Santa with the gifts delivery…yes, she comes bearing gifts too and chocolate and candy… but obviously only if you have been very, very good.

And I know it’s a common belief that she comes only for the little ones… but be let’s be realistic nobody is a total grownup on xmas… so no one is ever to old for Saint Lucy night.. not even me…

She bought a very special gift this year… a magical book I particularly love in a very special edition… It’s the HARRY POTTER AND THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE illustrated by Jym Kay..

I am absolutely in love! Such beauty and expression pops out from every pages… It is the best present ever!! I have been almost “eating it up” all weekend long! A pleasure for the eyes, and an enchanted ride for imagination…

Suddenly I am 10 again reading it for the first time… because so many years have past since I read the very first one that started all of it… which probably means, that it is the most magical of them all…

Actually I remember borrowing it, from the daughter of one of my mom friends, so I think I did rush a bit the reading… cause I could not keep it…and many things I barely remember.

But I get really passionate about this book because, it was the one that really got me into reading for fun, for the pleasure of it and not for school duty… and that was the moment when I fell in love with reading…

… by the way look at Hagrid house here, it looks AMAZING!!!

I’ll stop here with the pick.. so you can have a bit of curiosity to follow up…also because through these pages is like you are in the book, I think… ok maybe I am getting really annoying-enthusiastic, right now… but you know me… I love books, drawings and magical stuff so it’s a perfect match, I guess.

Do you like HP books? Movies?? well if your a fan I surely recommend you this!!! I hope you like this post, even if it’s a little bit unusual from my main topic. Are you thinking of getting this special edition of HP? Please do, let me know…I can be very convincing if your in doubt 🙂 ah ah ..

Night everybody…
