Flashback Friday: Big Apple summer days

You know when you have that sudden and weird flashback moment? like when.. your having Coffee, and while you taste its bitter- sweet flavour, a gentle breeze touches your hair, automatically you close your eyes and your are in another place… another time…

Yes, this is exactly, what happend to me this morning while I was having my coffee break at work, standing with my “long sleepy face” in the hall and than  “puff “.  A moment later,  I am in Central Park sitting on a bench having well, coffee ( what a news… I have a serious addiction to coffee..again what a news.. ) looking at Balto sitting fiercely in front of me, the warm sun the fresh wind on my hair…simply perfection.. one of those simple yet so unforgettable moment of happiness….

This exact day in 2013 I was there…I was reading in Central Park ( that in my opinion it’s a wonderfull place to do pretty much anything…really everything there is so much better. If I was yet in school I would say that even studing there is …well, appealing).

Ahead of me, was a full and amazing day: Lunch at Moma Museum, during the afternoon gaze for a good 30 minutes at my favourite paintings… Following the details of every stroke, leading me to a path, made of colors, harmony and beauty that comes gracefully to life.

And arise again from those wonderful hours with a smile and a heart full of glorious excitement, craving for more…. my afternoon went on with my Art mood in brooklyn, in one of  New York City’s premier arts districts, Dumbo!!

What a surprise? nah… I always wanted to see this neighborhood… I was prepared and yet, I enjoyed every bit of it, so very much!! Suddenly it’s like being in a tv show or a movie or even on a fashion magazine… that view under the manhattan bridge… it’s so cool…

Ok time to get back to reality..  my real coffee is now cold, and work is calling me…this flashback has been so overwhelming but also a little gloomy … anyway It was worth it…
